Journalist Youmna ElSayed has been told by the Israeli army to leave their home "or die" [Original post] Youmna explains that she doesn't feel there is any safe route for her family to take as the sound of bombardments can be heard in the background. [Tags: Homes, Threat, Bombs, Forced Displacement, Evacuation Order, Journalism, Freedom of expression, Families] [Found by: Al Jazeera, Youmna Elsayed] [Location: Gaza > Gaza City] [Archivist Notes] On October 30, 2023, Youmna Elsayed, Al Jazeera’s correspondent in Gaza, received threats from Israeli forces to vacate her home in Gaza City. “The phone call that we received was from a private number. The caller gave my husband his full name and told him that ‘this is the Israeli army, we are telling you to evacuate south because in the coming hours, it is going to be very dangerous in the area where you are at’. *In the midst of all this bombardment, I don’t know how safe it would be to actually take our car and leave and drive under this heavy bombardment. It’s very risky, it doesn’t seem safe at all; in the past days, we’ve been seeing videos of cars that were directly targeted while they were on the street going to the south. So it’s really a very tense situation, I don’t think that if I risk my life and the life of my kids to take this journey that this could be a right decision. And at the same time, they called us directly and warned us telling us to leave now but the bombardment is relentless, how are people like me and others are going to be able to leave?” * Source :

RSF reconstruction of the death of one journalist and the injury of several others in Lebanon [Tags: Bombs, Murder, Journalism, Freedom of expression, Hasbara] [Found by: Reporter Sans Frontières] [Location: Lebanon] [Archivist Notes] Reporters Without Borders (RSF) has released a video reconstruction of the tragedy that resulted in the death of one journalist and the injury of several others. The initial findings of the investigation show that the reporters were not collateral victims of the shooting. One of their vehicles, marked "press", was targeted, and it was also clear that the group stationed next to it was journalists. What happened on the border between Israel and Lebanon on Friday 13 October when a bombing raid claimed the life of Reuters journalist Issam Abdallah? Two strikes of different intensity, about thirty seconds apart, hit the exact spot where seven journalists were standing. They had set up in this area to cover the exchange of fire between Hezbollah forces and the Israeli army. The first strike killed Reuters photojournalist Issam Abdallah and seriously injured Agence France-Presse (AFP) correspondent Christina Assi, while the second blew up the Al Jazeera vehicle in the immediate vicinity, injuring several of their colleagues.

On this day a year ago, Israel committed a massacre by targeting the Al-Taj building and its surroundings. The event, despite its enormity, did not receive the attention it deserved at that time due to the interruption of communications and the Internet. I remember well the huge number of injuries. *Most of the injuries were serious, you could barely find a place to put your foot between the bodies of the injured. I was carrying dozens of blood units and randomly placing them on the injured. Everyone was bleeding and there were no operating rooms available. As soon as I finished distributing blood to the injured, I would return to the first injured person and find him dead, and so on, everyone was bleeding. *Everyone was bleeding to death and we had nothing to do for them. We didn't feel the time passing until midnight, then we learned that one of our colleagues' daughters had died in the hospital while he was working with us and was busy with her, so we all started crying. Bitter crying, the whole department is crying, everyone hides their faces and cries, crying for everyone, for the injured and for the poor girl. The poor girl crowded the bodies of the massacre's martyrs with her body to find a grave to hold her, and the martyr Fidaa ascended a few days later with her children. A whole year has passed and we are still living under genocide."

The community is in danger of imminent destruction and displacement. #IsraelGazaWar #PalestineGenocide #Palestine [Tags: Settlement, Soldiers and Settlers, Pogrom, Raid, Water, Agriculture, Bulldozer, Living conditions, Terror, Impunity, Property, Land theft, Provocation] [Found by: @stopthewall] [Location: West Bank > Masafer Yatta > Al-Khalil/Hebron > Susiya] [Archivist Notes] Historical context Since the Oslo Accords , the West Bank has been divided into three zones: zone A, theoretically under total control of the Palestinian Authority, zone B, under Palestinian administrative and Israeli security control, and zone C, totally controlled by the Israeli authorities , which corresponds to 60% of the occupied territory and where the illegal settlements under international law are located The village of Susya, a village in the Masafer Yatta region, is in zone C, very affected by occupation and colonization. Not far from the town, the Israeli army seized 3,000 hectares of land to make it a “restricted military zone”, called “918 firing zone” , where the movement of Palestinians is limited. And above all, the village adjoins an Israeli setttelment, also called Susya, established since 1983 by settlers with radical ideology. Although the Palestinian presence in Susya has been established since the beginning of the 19th century, the town is not recognized by the State of Israel. Since the 1980s, the village has been destroyed seven times. The last demolition dates from 2014. Three houses were razed. Each time, the residents rebuild, they don't want to leave. In 2012, the village first applied to enter the Israeli-administered master plan , which allows West Bank localities to be recognized for avoiding demolition and being connected to water and electricity networks After two refusals, Susya launched a third request. In Susya, 300 Palestinians live in makeshift and precarious settlements. Building real houses leads to their destruction by the Israeli army. On the roofs of houses, residents installed tarpaulins to hide from Israeli drones. As Susya is not recognized by Israel, residents are prohibited from building new facilities. But families are growing. The size of the area designated for declaration is the largest since the Oslo Accords, and the year 2024 marks a peak in the extent of declarations of state land . Since the beginning of 2024, Israel has declared 23,700 dunams of the West Bank as State Lands. Recurrent events Palestinian villagers face increasing violence and threats of expulsion from radical Israeli settlers and the Israeli army. Activists from Jewish Voice for Peace , documenting the incidents, report daily provocations by settlers who damage Palestinian farmlands by bringing their sheep to graze on them. Villages like Susya and At-Tuwani are heavily impacted. Despite being officially recognized by Israel, At-Tuwani's residents suffer attacks by settlers from nearby Israeli colonies. These attacks, including an incident where a local man, Zakaria Adra, was shot by a settler without any intervention by Israeli soldiers, are common. UN has reported that the growing settler violence and expansion could amount to war crimes Consequences on the safety and livelihoods of Palestinians Farmers Crops destroyed by settlers, further worsening economic hardships. Despite reporting these incidents to Israeli authorities, there is little hope for justice. The situation has left the community feeling isolated, constantly under threat, and forced to patrol their lands to defend against further settler aggression. Despite the pressure, some villagers remain determined not to leave their land. Chronology Since October 7 , 2023, Israeli army restrictions and settler violence have increased south of Hebron, in the Masafer Yatta region of the West Bank. Palestinians are fighting to preserve their right to stay on their land. On October 16 , 2023, Settlers attack Susya, block all its entrances with bulldozers, and destroy two water wells, fences, and areas planted with trees. On October 20, 2023, two weeks after the start of the war, the Israeli army closed access to my village, Susya, with huge blocks of stone. It has become inaccessible for those who have a small car. On October 29 , 2023, settlers issued an ultimatum that if the villagers of Susya do not vacate in 24 hours they will return to kill residents. On February 3, 2024, Israeli forces beat a young Palestinian man and arrested him while he was with his family on their land near the village of Susya in Masafer Yatta. On March 17 , 2024, Israeli extremists settlers attacked residents of Susya village. As well several shepherds has been chased by settlers in Massafer Yatta Israeli soliders confiscated a tractor for a farmer in Sheap al-Botom village. On April 2 , 2024 : two different attacks in two different places. Israeli settlers attacked and harassed Palestinian shepherd and the international activists in susya an Al_Asayfer villages, adn injuring a young man. On May 23 , 2024, activists staying with a threatened family discovered a fire in a nearby field started by a Molotov cocktail. The day before, Shem Tov Luski , from the "Susya Kaduma" outpost, visited the village with a young boy who threatened to kill a local resident. Although police were called to investigate, the responding officer, a settler from a nearby community, asked a few questions and quickly left without taking further action. On July 4 , 2024,The Higher Planning Council (HPC) approved today and yesterday (3-4/7/24) the advancement of 5,255 housing units in dozens of settlements throughout the West Bank. The building plans include the expansion of settlements deep within the West Bank and the legalization of three outposts : Mahane Gadi, Givat Hanan (Susya East) , and Kedem Arava as “neighborhoods” of existing settlements. Israeli Minister Strook described these months as 'like a time of miracles' in a recent recording where she spoke to Givat Hanan settlement residents near Susya about the increased construction in the occupied West Bank. Givat Hanan (Susya East) (Plan 513/5) – The approval of the plan for the deposit of 107 housing units in the Susya settlement is actually intended to legalize the Givat Hanan outpost, which was illegally established in 2019 . The outpost is located across an intercity road, disconnected from the Susya settlement. However, to avoid the need to declare a new settlement, it was decided to consider it a “neighborhood” of Susya and plan the construction of a bridge over intercity Road 317 to connect the two settlements. On Augustus 4 , 2024, masked Israeli settlers attacked foreign activists who were accompanying Palestinian farmers. On September 13 Israeli soldiers invaded the village of Tuwani. They entered a private yard where, according to the settlers and some questionable archaeologists, remnants of an ancient synagogue are said to be located. The soldiers then walked through the village with their weapons raised, frightening the residents. Using archaeology as a pretext for dispossession and expulsion is a well-known Zionist practice. Just earlier the same day, it was reported that the army is using claims of archaeological findings in Zanuta to prevent people from rebuilding their homes, thus preventing them from living on their land. Residents of the nearby village of Susya were also expelled from their original homes in the 1980s using similar manipulations On October 18 , 2024, During the olives harvest, a violent clash occurs where the settelers injured one farmer and one activist, under the protection of the IDF soldiers. Israeli soldiers used Nasr as a human shield in the Jenin refugee camp [Original post] Israeli soldiers used Nasr as a human shield in the Jenin refugee camp, forcing him into tunnels dug by Palestinian armed groups. Under threat from their firearms, Nasr was given a drone camera and ordered to scout the tunnels, following the soldiers' commands as they directed him with a flashlight. [Tags: Roads, Raid, Water, Blocking Ambulances, Human Shield, Blocking Aid, Starvation, Living conditions, Infrastructure, Unlawful detention, Terror, Dehydration, Healthcare System, Siege] [Found by: @pulseofpal] [Location: West Bank > Jenin] [Archivist Notes] Jenin Siege during "Operation Summer Camp": Launched on Aug. 28, 2024, by Israel, it is the largest military invasion in the northern West Bank in over two decades. The operation focuses on Jenin, with simultaneous actions in other cities like Tubas, Nablus, Ramallah, and Tulkarem. Israel justifies the operation as a fight against Palestinian resistance groups like the Jenin Brigades. Civilian Infrastructure Destroyed: Israeli forces heavily damaged civilian infrastructure in Jenin refugee camp, described as a form of collective punishment.Bulldozers and armored vehicles destroyed homes, streets, and markets. 70% of camp streets and surrounding areas were bulldozed. The refugee camp has been turned into a battlefield, forcing residents to stay indoors. Siege on Jenin: The siege blocked access to essential resources like water, food, and medicine. Civilians, including children, the elderly, and the chronically ill, have been trapped inside without help. Some women and children managed to escape at gunpoint, while men and boys were detained. Mass Arrests and Human Rights Violations: Israeli forces carried out mass arrests of men and boys, including 72-year-old Khayriyeh Khrayneh’s family members. Her husband (a diabetic) and eldest son (a cancer patient) were arrested despite needing medical care. Eyewitnesses described brutal tactics: Palestinian detainees were used as human shields, and attack dogs were unleashed on families. Journalists and media correspondants are systematically threatened by Israeli vehicles or reckless shooting. Blocking Medical Access: Ambulances were denied entry to the camp, and paramedics were shot at, preventing the retrieval of bodies. The main hospital in Jenin was put under lockdown by Israeli Border Police, turning the surrounding area into a "closed military zone." Even when ambulances were allowed through, they were stopped, and patients were forced to show ID before being admitted. Deaths and Casualties: At least 19 Palestinians were killed in Jenin during the siege, including minors. An 83-year-old man, Tawfiq Qandeel, was shot by Israeli forces and left to die without medical help. His body was later run over by military vehicles. Three Palestinian children were killed when their vespa was bombed while delivering bread to the residents of Jenin. Since October 2023, nearly 700 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank, with 185 in Jenin alone. Brutality of Military Tactics: The operation in Jenin involved anti-tank rifle grenades destroying civilian infrastructure, sporadic gunfire, and drones flying overhead (likely for surveillance or attacks). Civilians described widespread fear and destruction, with Israeli soldiers using homes as military outposts and placing snipers on rooftops. Worsening Humanitarian Crisis: The Israeli military siege left Jenin and nearby cities under curfew, with road closures and checkpoints stifling movement for both residents and journalists. Palestinians were unable to access basic necessities like flour and baby food due to the complete lockdown of the city. Medical staff, such as nurses, reported being unable to go home for days due to the danger posed by the military operation. Israeli Justification: Israeli military leadership stated their intention to target Palestinian armed resistance, stating they would move "from city to city, refugee camp to refugee camp." But despite their claims of targeting militants, the majority of the casualties were civilians, deepening resentment among the Palestinian population and increasing support for resistance groups. Collective Punishment and Civilian Displacement: Civilians in Jenin reported feeling that the military operations were designed to push them out of their homes . Jenin’s residents are increasingly describing the siege as an effort to depopulate the area . Residents drew comparisons between the treatment of Jenin and Gaza, seeing the same tactics of displacement and destruction being used in both regions. Source :

[Tags: Prisoner Abuse, Humiliation, Baby, Arrest, Football, Unlawful detention, Dehumanization, Human Dignity, Elderly, Children, Exposure to cold, Women, Handcuffed, Sexual Harassment] [Found by: @MuradSyr] [Location: Gaza > Gaza City > Yarmouk Stadium] [Archivist Notes] On December 25 , Israeli forces rounded up dozens of Palestinians, including men, women, children, disabled people and even a baby in Gaza's Yarmouk Stadium. They were stripped to their underwear, blindfolded, and tied, with Israeli soldiers pointing guns at them. Rafle campaign According to Euro Med Human Rights Monitor, a large mass arrest campaign was launched by Israeli troops : civilians were arrested in Jabalia al-Balad and its camp, north of Gaza, and in the neighbourhoods east of Gaza City. "Israeli forces frequently blow up doors and throw bombs during their raids of Palestinian homes and shelter centres. Israel’s soldiers then storm the buildings toshoot, execute, and kill everybody inside—either for no apparent reason, or for “crimes” as simple as two civilians speaking with each other. They later force any survivors out of the homes or shelters, forcing the men to strip completely naked while the women are searched and harassed" Israel’s random arrest campaign has targeted doctors, nurses, journalists, teachers, engineers, human rights defenders, workers in humanitarian organisations, and elderly people. Yarmouk Statium used as a Dentention Camp On December 26, 2023, harrowing footage emerged showing Israeli troops turning Yarmouk stadium into a makeshift internment camp. A soldier carrying a baby wrapped in a blanket could be seen at the end of the video. Armed soldiers and tanks encircled the field, soldiers posing in front of a group of detained women and children, and blindfolded men and women forced to kneel in front of a goal with the Israeli flag attached to the netting. Israeli forces further solidified its devastation by employing tanks and bulldozers to level the pitch. Sexual harrassment According to information received by Euro-Med Monitor, during the last days of December, the Israeli army has been detaining hundreds of Palestinians in the Sheikh Radwan neighbourhood in Gaza City. "Among them are dozens of women who were taken to Yarmouk Stadium, where they had their veils removed and were searched by soldiers. Many of them also endured explicit abuse, beatings, and harassment". Palestinian males, including children as young as 10 years old and elderly people over the age of 70, were forced to take off all of their clothes except their underwear and line up in a humiliating manner in front of the women detained in the same stadium. Israeli army detained a large numbers of females, including young girls, mothers with their children, and elderly women—one detained woman being over 80 years old—. All of whom are subjected to cruel and inhumane treatment while in detention, including the forced removal of their veils. Allegations of Field Executions : The video, shared widely on social media, depicts what some have described as "executions." The UN and human rights groups accused Israeli forces of carrying out field executions in Gaza, targeting civilians forcibly removed from displacement centers. Abduction in Israeli military trucks to Negev detention centers Hadeel Youssef Issa Al-Dahdouh, a female detainee who was also released in 2024, was seen abducted and transported in an Israeli military truck alongside a group of naked men to the Israeli Detention Centers in Negev. An enforced disappearance campaign Enforced or Involuntary Disappearances can be defined by "the arrest, detention, abduction or any other form of deprivation of liberty by agents of the State or by persons or groups of persons acting with the authorisation, support,or acquiescence of the State, followed by a refusal to acknowledge this deprivation of liberty or by concealment of the fate or whereabouts of the disappeared person, which places such a person outside the protection of the law". Gaza Strip detainees are subject to all of these circumstances. They relatives ignore their fates : detained, killed or injured somewhere. In December, Israel’s military has detained over 3,000 people whose whereabouts are still unknown, and released no information on them. This constitutes the heart of Israel's dehumanization policy and genocide in Gaza. Forced disappearance is illegal and qualifies as a “crime against humanity” if carried out extensively or methodically, as is being done by Israeli army forces in the Gaza Strip. On december 30, 2024, Franceska Albanese claims on her X Account : "The case of the disappeared must be urgently investigated in the attempt to save lives. With the Israeli Supreme Court refusing to do so, other legal avenues must be explored." Sources :

Dr. Hussam refused to abandon his hospital despite threats, even after losing his son to an Israeli drone strike. Recently, he was detained and severely beaten by Israeli forces. 11-day-old newborn baby, Aisha Al-Qassas, died from the freezing weather in a Mawasi tent [Original post] Palestinian Baby Dies From Severe Cold 11-day-old newborn baby, Aisha Al-Qassas, died from the freezing weather in her family's tent in the Mawasi area of Khan Younis, where Palestinian families were forced to take refuge after being forcibly displaced by I0F #ForeverPalestine [Tags: Forced Displacement, Tent City, Baby, Living conditions, Children, Exposure to cold] [Found by: @Pal_4ever_] [Location: Gaza > Al-Mawasi > Southern Gaza] [Archivist Notes] In two week, height infants have died due to the bitter cold wave sweeping through the displacement areas of Palestinians, where they were forcibly displaced to regions described by the Israeli occupation forces as “temporary humanitarian zones.” Most of these areas are open spaces stretching to the sea shores, Dozens of tents have been blown away or flooded by the strong winds and rain, leaving families struggling to repair the damage, patching torn sheets of plastic and piling up sand to hold back the water. The real-feel temperature at dawn and early morning hours drops to 3°C (actual temperature is 8°C). According to Dr. Ahmed Al-Farra , the head of pediatrics and obstetrics at Nasser Hospital, in Khan Younis, staff in the neonatal ICU see at least five cases of hypothermia per day. Reduced breastfeeding and limited availability of infant formula has severely compounded the risk of hypothermia among babies, while the health workers are struggling to treat young patients due to shortages of electricity, diesel and other fuel. According to UNICEF , many displaced children in Gaza are wearing little more than the clothes on their backs – after many were forced to flee Israel’s bombardment in summer clothes, earlier this year. The head of the United Nations agency for Palestinian refugees, Philippe Lazzarini, recently said that Gaza babies “are freezing to death due to cold weather and a lack of shelter.” “Blankets, mattresses, and other winter supplies have been stuck in the region for months waiting for approval to get into Gaza,” he said in a recent message on X. The infants who died due to the cold are: Aisha Al-Qassas, 21 days old Ali Issam Saqr, 23 days old Ali Hossam Azzam, 4 days old Sila Mahmoud Al-Faseeh, 14 days old Jumua Al-Batran, one-month old Ali Al-Batran, one-month old Sanad Wisam Kamel Ayad, 4 months old Ali Youssef Ahmed Kloub, 35-day-old Dalia Al-Masri December 22 : Aisha Sufyan Al-Qassas, a 20-day-old, born in a displacement tent, she lacked protection from the harsh weather and, despite being taken to the hospital, received no proper treatment to be saved. December 25 : Sila Mahmoud Al-Faseeh “froze to death from the extreme cold” in Al-Mawasi, Dr. Munir Al-Bursh, the director general of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, posted on X on Wednesday. December 28 : One-month-old Palestinian baby, Jumua al-Batran, tragically passed away from the freezing weather in central Gaza. December 30 : One-month-old Ali Al-Batran (twin brother of Jumua) died at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in central Gaza, the Palestinian news agency Wafa reported, quoting medical sources who attributed his death to plummeting temperatures. December 31 : Sanad Wisam Kamel Ayad died from hypothermia at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in central Gaza January 5 : 35 day-old Yousef Ahmad Kaloob died from hypothermia in his family dispalcement tent in Mawasi Khan Younis January 29: Infant Dalia Al-Masri died from hypothermia in Beit Hanoon. An Israeli soldier filmed himself destroying Jenin Municipality vehicles [Original post] An Israeli soldier filmed himself destroying Jenin Municipality vehicles during a raid and uploaded the municipality's CCTV footage, admitting it was his pleasure. He also shared footage taken by Palestinians showing him chasing unarmed youth and attempting to run them over. [Tags: Gleeful Destruction, Vehicles, Caterpillar D9, Raid, Forced Displacement, Local Governance, Living conditions, Urbicide, Terror] [Found by: Israel Genocide Tracker] [Location: West Bank > Jenin] [Archivist Notes] On January 24 , the fourth day of the Israeli assault (Iron Wall), following a violent incursion, 12 summary executions and 40 injuries, a demolition campaign began in Jenin, while quad-drone speakers forced the displacement of the Jenin population. Vehicles, shops, and many houses were subjected to demolition by excavators (D9), arson, or artillery shelling. On January 27 , after four days of intensive demolition, estimates indicate that approximately 100 homes have been destroyed and torched in the refugee camp, as the systematic devastation of its infrastructure continues unabated. They used demolitions, explosions, and arson attacks on homes. Areas such as al-Aloub, al-Falouja, al-Bashar and al-Dammaj were among those most heavily impacted, with clouds of smoke rising into the sky and continuous explosions heard throughout the camp. On February 2 , in the eastern part of Jenin camp, Israel blew up simultaneously 23 buildings in Jenin after booby-trapping them, which caused damage to some sections of Jenin Governmental Hospital. Several videos, including one released by the Israeli military, showed massive mushroom clouds erupting across the city simultaneously. The military claims they were the homes of 'terrorists,' but according to residents' testimonies, Israeli forces threatened all the neighborhood's residents with death if they did not leave their homes immediately. Then, they detonated 23 houses, each sheltering multiple families in residential blocks, including the Damaj neighborhood, Mahyoub Street, Al-Hawashin neighborhood, and behind the Al-Aseer Mosque. The occupation forces notified the family of the family of Palestinian youth Qusay Al-Saadi that their house in the eastern neighborhood of Jenin city, which consists of 3 floors, would be bombed if his son Qusay did not surrender, claiming that he was wanted by the occupation authorities. The Isreali continue to send reinforcements to the city of Jenin camp from the Jalameh military checkpoint, while its bulldozers continue to destroy homes in Al-Damj neighborhood. Jenin Mayor Mohammad Jarar said that about 15,000 people were displaced from Jenin camp and Al-Hadaf neighborhood, and were distributed in 39 local community bodies in Jenin governorate and its towns Unofficial evacuation orders Several reports describe forced displacement during the Israeli assault in Jenin. According to local residents, Israeli forces used loudspeakers on drones and military vehicles to order residents to evacuate the Jenin refugee camp. Many people, including those in the nearby Jouret al-Dhahab neighborhood, were forced to leave their homes. The Israeli military reportedly warned the residents to leave before bombings would begin. In addition, the Palestinian Red Crescent reported helping almost 650 people who had fled the camp and surrounding areas. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) denied issuing an evacuation order for Jenin. In a briefing, Lt. Col. Nadav Shoshani, an IDF spokesperson, stated that "there is no evacuation order in Jenin. There is no plan to issue an evacuation order in Jenin. If you hear that, you should know it is fake news." Despite this, reports from residents and humanitarian organizations suggest that Israeli forces did indeed encourage or force people to leave the camp, including using loudspeakers to give evacuation instructions. Context: Israeli Minister Katz stated that the Jenin assault marked a shift in the military’s security strategy in the West Bank and was “the first lesson from the method of repeated raids in Gaza.” The military has claimed it refined its urban warfare tactics based on its offensive in Gaza. According to Haaretz military reporter @yanivkub "[IDF] operation "Iron Wall" [in Jenin, occupied West Bank - jz] could have been named "Wag the Dog." It is a full-scale public relations operation. Its purpose is to preserve the ruling Netanyahu coalition at the expense of the lives of our soldiers." Gaza is a transformative moment in numerous ways. It has generated an unprecedented decline in Israeli public faith and trust in the military and civilian authorities that make critical security policy decisions. The Chief of Staff has just resigned in disgrace. Calls for Netanyahu's resignation are ongoing, and his hold on power appears shaken.
