Tents there are in horrible condition and face intense wind. People were fighting over the 50 tarps we put up but we promised that we’ll be back with more. Israle denies mother permission to accompany her sick child [Original post] The mother, Abeer Abu Yousef from Khan Younis, was denied permission by Israel to accompany her child, a kidney patient, during his medical evacuation from Gaza. Heartbroken, she had to send her other young daughter as a companion instead. Abeer expressed deep sadness for not being able to be by her sick child’s side during this critical time. We gave out 87 tarps to families whose makeshift tents were falling apart. We initially put up 50 but the situation was so dire we added 37 more. Here, this mother expresses her fear that her children will not survive the winter. Imagine that.
