Hind had called for help, begged to be rescued, surrounded by the dead bodies of her family members. But the paramedics dispatched to rescue her were also killed by Israel. Hind's story echoes another time, decennia ago, when the young Jewish girl Anne Frank had to hide from the Nazi's during the holocaust. She too was killed, and the world vowed 'never again.’ On the eve of the yearly commemoration of victims of WW2 in the Netherlands, activists displayed this art piece next to the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam.
