The factory owners said it didn’t start now, but since October 7 it has only been escalating, and recently it has become a daily occurrence. Every day they come. Every day they shut it down. Every day they make it clear to anyone still trying to work that they have no chance. And when they call the police? They hang up on them 😡 And the violence doesn’t stop at threats. They open containers, pour out expensive chemical materials, and contaminate the soil and the water reservoir. They damage livelihoods, damage infrastructure, and damage the basic ability to continue living here. This is not “just another incident.” This is a system. This is what the process of expulsion and dispossession looks like in practice. Not only with weapons, but through economic strangulation, through the systematic destruction of every source of livelihood. They stole two sheep and three lambs from the sheepfold and broke the refrigerator there. They destroyed the electrical system in the home of the two elderly residents. They smashed the tractor’s windows. At the nearby school, they shattered all the solar panels."
