Nour Awad and her family lost everything in #Gaza Her family, her siblings, her aunt and uncle, her cousins, all were injured in a treacherous #Israeli airstrike that destroyed their home. It could have been worse. Though they have the trauma of being stuck and pulling themselves out of the rubble, it could have been much, much worse. The children were burned and cut, the heat of the missile scorching their skin and hair, but they survived. With survival comes the next hurdle which is dealing with the aftermath. Nour’s home was destroyed, everything that brought normalcy and comfort was turned into ash. In the midst of so much death and pain, there is also other suffering - mourning the life one used to have. Nour, though her family is alive, simply misses her pajamas. She misses her clothing and her stuff.
