Last night, dozens of settlers flocked to the area very close to the community - which has long suffered from harassment and Jewish terrorism - and began building an outpost. Under the cover of the chaos that arose from their attempts to block and prevent activists from documenting, they also stole about 65 heads of sheep, broke into the house of one of the families, vandalized it and stole cash and an air conditioner. All of this happened near a school whose construction and maintenance is funded by the Europeans. The Security Coordinator from the nearby settlement Mevo'ot Yericho was present at the scene and did not prevent the violations. The police, who were called to the scene several times, did not arrive. The army came and then left - this morning the soldiers returned to drink coffee with the settlers, in the established outpost, where the stolen herd is also being held.
