The National Campaign to Retrieve the Bodies of Martyrs: The Israeli occupation authorities continue their policy of withholding the bodies of Palestinian martyrs. The campaign has documented the detention of 694 martyrs' bodies in the so-called "cemeteries of numbers" and occupation mortuaries-some since the 1960s and 1970s, The latest among them was the martyr Abd al-Fattah Haribat from Hebron, who was killed yesterday. These figures do not include the martyrs whose bodies are withheld in Gaza since the onset of the genocidal war, as accurate information regarding their numbers is unavailable. However, Israeli sources have reported that the occupation is holding the bodies of more than 1,500 martyrs in the "Sde Teiman" military camp. (Arabic below)
