Pogrom against Hureini family chased from its land near Susya village in Masafer Yatta [Original post] Ongoing ethnic cleansing against my family and community in masafer yatta by Israeli occupation settlers and soldiers, today my family were attacked and chased from our land near susya village in masafer yatta [Found by: Sami Huraini] [Location: West Bank > Masafer Yatta > At-Tuwani > Susiya] [Archivist Notes] According to Masafering : On April 20: Expulsion and arson attempt in Susya. At noon, a family from Wadi Rahim (an area in Susya that suffers from violence from settlers and the army) went out to harvest the crops they had sown. A group of masked settlers charged at them and expelled them from the area. But that wasn't enough for the settlers, and they began a series of arson attempts in the area. Three points in the field were burned, as well as a house under construction. Police and Border Police arrived at the scene only after the arson had ended, and while they were in the area, settlers began approaching the house of the family who was trying to harvest, as if to show how immune they are from the consequences of the state authorities as long as they evict Palestinians and damage their property. When they arrived at the family's home, they threatened the family, pushed them, and threw stones at them. The army eventually allowed the family to continue harvesting, but after they finished, settlers grazed on their land and damaged the crops they had not managed to take.
