Maryam, a child victim of the #Israeli war of genocide in the #Gaza Strip, arrived at the Indonesian hospital on a bloody night. Her health was critical. She was in a coma due to concussions and was suffering from extremely low blood pressure as a result of the severe bleeding she had suffered. In the operating room, a large shrapnel was found in Maryam's body, penetrating her abdomen. She also suffered from severe back injuries, multiple fractures in her limbs, and burns to her chest and face. Maryam remained in intensive care for a period of time, and thanks to God and the medical staff who treated her, she regained consciousness. Amid all this suffering, Maryam, who is 6 years-old, has lost her family and has no idea that she will live the rest of her life as an orphan and alone.

The police made sure to show up the moment the settlers had already left the area. Based on previous incidents, the goal of this kind of action is to provoke the villagers into trying to expel them, and then to launch a wave of assaults and arrests — in full cooperation with the army, police, and the media. The village of Tuba is regularly attacked by settlers and by the terror authorities. In recent months alone, settlers set fire to a vehicle in the village, residents have been attacked several times by settlers and then arrested afterward, and the village’s shepherds are driven off their grazing lands on a daily basis.

After the ceasefire, she and her mother moved from Khan Younis to northern #Gaza, unaware of her father’s fate. On the second day of Eid, her mother was murdered before her eyes by the criminal #Israeli occupation bombing, and the child still does not know that her mother has also passed away. Now, she is orphaned, drowning in the darkness of loss and deprivation. Imagine the magnitude of this suffering, where an innocent childhood is ripped away and burdened with unbearable pain, while the world turns a blind eye to the injustice faced by #Gaza’s children.
