Her mother had been going back and forth with her to the hospital, searching for her formula, all while watching her daughter wither away. The Sameer Project returned to Zeinab and her family with extra support to assist them during this stressful time. We provided them with a new tent, mattresses for comfort, cooking pots and pans, utensils, clothing for Zeinab, and vegetables and nutritional supplements for the other children too. The family’s focus should be on their sick child, but the situation in Gaza is unrelenting. The family resides close to evacuation zones and where tanks rolled in just a few days ago. If this family gets displaced they will come to our Refaat Alareer Camp so that 4 month old Zeinab is safe while her health condition is so vulnerable.
