Layla is one of 54 children and teens killed by Israeli forces in the West Bank in 2025. At the entrance to the settlement, dozens of settlers were waiting for them and tried to push them back. Fierce clashes broke out at the scene. IDF forces arrived but did not intervene, as happens quite often in such cases. Eventually, one of the Jews grabbed the weapon from one of the Palestinians.
