Ziad Abu Hlail defies IDF soldiers shooting protesters [Original post] I was there that day with Haji Zaid Abu Halil with @VFPNational in Hebron. I am humbled to have stood in solidarity with him and many other Palestinian men and women defending their people and land from occupation. I will always be awed by Haji Zaid Abu Halil’s courage and steadfastness. He stood alone in front of a line of Israeli guns twice. Once when the Israelis were shooting at us, that is in the video circulating, and then again when the Israeli border police resumed firing.
